ROMkids

ROMkids is one of Toronto’s most creative and diverse summer camps. For over 60 years, the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) has offered an exciting array of fun, activity-based programs inspired by the collection and research of a world-class museum. This variety of offerings ensures that students will be able to find a program that matches their interests and abilities. The ROM’s fascinating galleries, authentic artifacts, and friendly professional staff will provide students with an exciting summer experience.
Class sizes are limited so that no more than 20 children are in each class. Instructors in these programs hold degrees or diplomas and have professional teaching experience. Instructor Assistants are senior secondary school and university students who have extensive experience in educational programs. Each group or class also has two or more volunteers to provide additional support.
This summer, students will enjoy unlimited access to six new permanent galleries in the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal. The new galleries include the James and Louise Temerty Galleries of the Age of the Dinosaurs, Gallery of the Age of Mammals, Shreyas and Mina Ajmera Gallery of Africa, Americas and Asia-Pacific, and the Wirth Gallery of the Middle East.
